It’s that
glorious golden time of year and I’m feeling poetic. And before you ask, the
answer is “no”! With my impending deadline, I don’t have time for writing
poetry these days, but I love to read the lyrical stanza of those more
talented. One of my favorite poets is Robert Frost. His NOTHING GOLD CAN STAY
is so perfect for this time of year.
“Nature’s
first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.”
