2019 Year in Review

Looking back on 2019

From ringing in the year with a completed first draft of my manuscript to ending the year with the final manuscript at the publishers, 2019 has been a terrific year to launch to my writing career. I’ve managed to land an agent, an editor, production/publishing company and a publicist. I’ve worked on branding and marketing, and launched a website, a new Facebook site and figured out (maybe) how Instagram works.

And between all of this, there was so much more! We celebrated the Twelfth Night with a 19th century masquerade party, attended the Kentucky Derby, hosted a fabulous party for my father’s 80th birthday and drove across the country (most of it anyway) in my convertible by traveling on only two-lane highways.

Then of course there is all our Selma progress. We’ve put back so many of her beautiful gardens, finished the pool house and the colonnade and have spent more time enjoying her beauty than ever before.

And through all of this, I have met so many of you!

Yes, 2019 has been a pretty good year to me and am looking forward to the next chapter in 2020!
